guilty pleasures

I bought....
I.. I..

I bought the One Direction album "Midnight Memories".

don't hurt me!

It's super fun. Not exactly the most musically exquisite, but it's fun bubblegum/rock-ish tunes. It's enjoyable to work and listen to. I think my favorite at the moment is Diana or Happily.

I also picked up, yesterday, Bastille's "Bad Blood". I CAN'T get enough of "The things we lost in the fire". Their music is so catchy and their vocals are incredible!

I used to not be one who buys many albums, just pandora and stuff but it's kinda nice to have your own copy.

I recommend both!

ebay finds #1 - bags

Hey! I am going to be starting a mini series.... on ebay? yes, ebay! I have found that you can find lots of cute, unique, useful, and cheap items. Here are some of the bags/pouches I have found and love.

1.) "Camera"  Bag

I love these bags! They're super cute and would be nice for anyone, especially photographers! I LOVE the colors. Best of all, they're only 11$ plus shipping!

2.) Puzzle Cube Handbag

I LOVE this. It'd be so fun to store your phone, some lip gloss, money, and a snack or something. I saw a lady at the restaurant with one of these and looked it up to see where I could find one for myself. 10$, too! (with free shipping)

3.) Floral Zippered Clutch

these are absolutely ADORABLE. I love the patterns and colors! I like how the zipper has a little leather pull. I would use this as a wallet or a pencil case. It's 99 cents with free shipping, so I'll have to order a couple!!

4.) Organizer Clutch
SKU042667.5
SKU042667.2

I've been seeing these on some filo-fax art blogs lately, and I absolutely love them! They're meant to be passport holders, but I'm thinking about getting one to hold art stuff to go (travel) and one just as a wallet to keep my phone and money, and some paper for notes, etc. I like the size, it's big enough to actually put stuff in, and has TONS of pockets!!

5.) Small Pastel crossbody bag

These are adorable! I love the mint one and the pink one. Perfect for going to a theme park and for the summer! You could put your phone, chapstick, and keys in.

6.) Fox Satchel

I have seen these around and on tumblr! I love the mint green one and the red one. They're super cute and look like they're decently sized.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I'm always looking on ebay for cheap unique items.

donut collages

Yesterday I went to the donut shop and got some donuts. (shh.... don't tell anyone, it was merely for photography, but the donuts were pretty yummy c; )
I used just a white sheet of cardstock and sat at a window booth at the store. It was overcast, so the photos came out great! I photo-shopped the backgrounds out (and the center) and made these little donut collages. I think they came out really cute! I was inspired by how magazines tuck the title under the cover model's head, and did the same with these donuts. I like how in the bottom one the text is tucked under some donts and also on top of others!!

la luna

a couple days ago we were able to see a total lunar eclipse. It was amazing! I took some pictures with a long lens the night before and the night of. Above you see a photo I took and added some text to the night before. Here is a photo I took of the lunar eclipse:
that little dot in the bottom right is actually MARS!

It was so exciting to see these, I hope you enjoy. I'm actually loving the moon, lately.

Eye-Bombing

A couple days ago I went around eyebombing. Eyebombing is when you just stick googly eyes to somehing to create a face. I guess you could call it a totally non-self promotional street art. Just to make people happy!

a man-hole

trash can (ewwwwie ;D Don't worry, I didn't touch it.)

I hope you enjoyed these pics, and maybe you're inspired to go stick googly eyes all around, too! All you need is a bag of googly eyes and tacky glue. (liquid is best, gluesticks don't adhere these well.)

Mini Banner

Today I made a mini banner inspired by Chloe's post here. I really like how it turned out! I used stamps and a staz-on ink to stamp my quote onto the fabric. Instead of glueing I sewed the top shut with embroidery floss which I think turned out really cute, and I also tried cutting the opposite way to create the effect of almost snake's tongue ribbon ends. Go check out her tutorial and make one for yourself!

Polaroid Love

mwah haha.....

I've always wanted a polaroid. I've admired the photos that come from them and just the over-all design! I had a couple of vintage cameras already. (you might see them on here in a bit...) you could call it a little budding collection. I bought this little guy on ebay. It's a Polaroid SX-70 OneStep camera. I got a really good deal on it. No scratches, dings, or marks. It's even been tested by the camera shop! I'm so excited. I'm looking forward to picking up some impossible project film to use with it.
Also, below is a photo I took when I went to a camera store. They had tons of vintage cameras on shelves next to the window, and I happened to have my camera with me! This is certainly my favorite.
